Climate change is transforming the global economy, creating new opportunities for investors in energy, infrastructure, agriculture and other fields. While public policy is critical to create the right incentives for low-carbon growth, the private sector will play a major role identifying and financing solutions to tackle and adapt to climate change.
The second annual IFC-ASrIA Investing in Climate Business Forum will bring together industry leaders from around the world to highlight climate investment opportunities in key sectors, from clean technology to resource efficiency to water. Seasoned investors and experts will share insights and lessons learned in sustainable finance, and policymakers will explain how to create the right regulatory environment to encourage climate-smart business and investment.
The Forum is hosted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and organized by the Association for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA), in conjunction with the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), an ASrIA Initiative.
Location: Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong
