With a strong presence across ASEAN in the Internet of Things (IoT) industry, Asia IoT Business Platform will be making its debut in Singapore on 14 February 2017. It is the first of the 2017 series of events which will be held throughout ASEAN. The program will also be held in Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia & Vietnam later in the year. Over 1,800 IoT stakeholders participated in 2016.
ASEAN is proving to be a bright spot for enterprise IoT projects. Frost & Sullivan estimates the IoT market in ASEAN to be valued at USD 1.68 billion in 2016 and it is expected to grow 35% a year, accounting for 10% of the total Asia-Pacific IoT spending. Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines lead the region’s IoT spending, with strong focus on key areas such as Smart Cities, Manufacturing, Automotive, Transport & Logistics, and Smart Agriculture.
The 12th edition in Singapore will bring together major IoT stakeholders from ASEAN, including representatives from telecommunication companies, government officials, and end-user enterprises, to engage in panel discussions and share case studies on the latest IoT projects and developments in the region.
It is a dynamic industry program that should not be missed if you want to explore the region for your IoT solutions and to understand more about IoT in ASEAN and its potential. Through this platform, you can keep abreast of the latest developments in the region’s rapidly growing IoT industry, and establish important connections across different countries that will benefit you and your organization in many ways.
