“One of the very few assurance standard around today that could really scrutinize a CSR Report in its completeness.”- Francis Cheong, Nokia

“The CSAP Course has not only refreshed my knowledge of the fundamentals of sustainability but has also widened my understanding of topics related to sustainability reporting and assurance, which is a progressive area and growing in popularity. Case studies given at the course have also been helpful in shaping my understanding of how other companies are responding to sustainability, both locally in Asia and globally. The course also has a practical element to it, enabling participants the chance to confidently draft an assurance statement towards the end of the course. Overall, I had a good learning experience, with thanks to guidance from the Instructors as well as sharing and networking sessions with other participants who attended the course.” -  Ruth Yeoh Pei Cheen, Executive Director, YTL Singapore Pte Ltd

“It was informative and incredibly inspiring to share in the experiences and perspectives of such a diverse and enthusiastic group. We covered so much valuable material in such a short space of time – a real feat of facilitation!” - Laura Frost, ARUP

The certification is now overseen by AccountAbility. On successful completion, you get an AccountAbility certificate and are eligible to apply for the Associate level of the Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner programme.

Comprehensive and flexible

The course is broken into four modules covering CR fundamentals, stakeholder engagement, reporting and assurance. You can take all four modules together over five days or pick one or more individual modules to attend.

Engaging and interactive

You’ll do lots of practical exercises and have frequent chances to swap ideas and experiences and learn from good practices and common pitfalls.

Expert input

Our trainers are all leading CR professionals. They will pass on the know-how they’ve gained from years of working with the world’s top companies on their sustainability programmes. Guest speakers will add valuable insights about their own CR programmes. Previously, we’ve had input from the likes of The Co-operative, Rio Tinto and AccountAbility.
