The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) will be organizing its 11th Annual Roundtable Meeting (RT11), which is the world’s largest conference on sustainable palm oil.
RT11 will be held from 12 till 14 September 2013 at the Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention in Medan, Indonesia.
Held since 2003, the RT has grown to become a leading event for the palm oil sector and is the foremost global platform for palm oil stakeholders to address challenges and discuss solutions towards a unified vision for sustainable palm oil.
Themed “Understand. Apply. Embrace”, RT11 aims to provide in depth knowledge and understanding to stakeholders on the recently revised and approved standards i.e. the RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C 2013). Besides that, the conference will also host delegates from a wide spectrum of the industry to exchange views and experiences, and to strengthen international co-operation and support towards a unified vision for sustainable palm oil.
Stakeholders represented will include palm oil producers, palm oil processors or traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environment non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and social or developmental NGOs.
