PhD Candidate

I am an environmental scientist with an interest in biodiversity conservation research from an interdisciplinary perspective drawing from ecology and political science. Taxonomically, my work typically focuses on birds, but I also have an interest in mammals. My current research questions gravitate towards understanding governance for conserving migratory species, with a particular focus on effectiveness, agency, fit, and institutional complexity. I also have an interest in natural history, as well as in understanding the impacts of anthropogenic activities on biodiversity.
