Steffen Lehmann

Professor for Sustainable Architecture

Dr Steffen Lehmann is a German-born architect, urbanist and educator; he is Professor for Sustainable Architecture at the University of Portsmouth (UK), where he is Director of the Cluster for Sustainable Cities. Previously, he was the Chair Professor of Sustainable Design, and Director of the Research Centre for Sustainable Design and Behaviour (sd+b), at the University of South Australia. At UniSA, he was also Director of the China-Australia Centre for Sustainable Urban Development, CAC_SUD, a leading think-tank for research and consultancy on urbanisation in the Asia-Pacific region. Lehmann is an internationally renowned leader in the field of sustainable buildings and urban development.
