Amandine Denis-Ryan

Amandine is Head of Research at ClimateWorks Australia. She was a key analyst on the Low Carbon Growth Plan for Australia, and has since led research and analysis for many of ClimateWorks' projects, including the 'Impact of the Carbon Price Package' report and the 'Tracking Progress' report series, the first national stock take of Australia's progress towards a low carbon economy. In addition, she also coordinated modelling work from CSIRO, ANU and ClimateWorks for the 'Pathways to Deep Decarbonisation in 2050' project.

Amandine also has extensive expertise in the industrial sector. She led the Industrial Energy Efficiency Data Analysis project that created a detailed knowledge base on energy use, energy savings potential and factors impeding implementation for Australia's industrial companies, and is leading ongoing analyses on the financial value of energy efficiency for industrial companies.

Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Amandine worked as a management consultant for McKinsey and Company in Sydney, advising clients in both the public and private sector on a wide range of matters including strategy, sustainability issues and carbon abatement opportunities and associated policies. Amandine holds an MBA, as well as a MSc. from Ecole Polytechnique (France) and a MSc. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).
