Marcus Ng is a freelance writer and photographer focusing on the environment, education and heritage sectors. He is the author of 'Habitats in Harmony: The Story of Semakau Landfill', a book charting the history, development and biodiversity of Singapore's offshore landfill, and 'A Ride to Remember: The Story of Mount Faber and Singapore Cable Car', a social and corporate history of Mount Faber and Mount Faber Leisure Group. He has also edited and written extensively for the National Heritage Board's BeMuse magazine and developed heritage trails for NHB in Balestier Road and Jalan Besar.
