Elaine Tan

Elaine Tan is the CEO of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) Singapore, which belongs to the world's largest conservation organisation with offices in over 80 countries. WWF's mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world’s biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable, and
promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

With her 20-year career in strategic communications and general management, Elaine comes to WWF with valuable experience in the non-governmental organisation (NGO) space with the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation and especially World Vision, an international humanitarian organisation, where she held the post of Marketing Communications Director and was responsible for the significant growth of World Vision’s
office in Singapore.

In addition to her time with the above-mentioned NGOs, Elaine has had extensive communications experience with the National Healthcare Group and the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore.
